We are tillage farmers and passionate about producing the top quality grain that goes into our stoneground flours. A number of years ago we began to research growing and milling our own grain to produce a high-quality Irish flour. We set out to produce flour from local grain that matched international standards. We grow the grain pesticide free on land that is now under conversion to organic.
100% Stoneground For Goodness
Our natural spelt flour is freshly stone-milled from pure spelt grain. Stone-milled means that the whole grain is milled together and the flour absorbs the oils and nutrients of the wholegrain and the flour is kept cool in the slow stone milling process to minimise nutrient loss. Our stone-milled spelt flour has a nutty flavour and is high in protein, minerals and the B Vitamins. Spelt gluten is more fragile and more water soluble than wheat gluten making it easier to digest.
Unbleached, Unblended, No Additives
Our natural Spelt flour is freshly stone-milled from quality Irish spelt grain that produces a strong bread flour with great flavour.
We Produce Stoneground White & Wholemeal Spelt and Einkorn Flour For Bakers
We pack our spelt flour in 12.5kg bags for supply to the bakery trade.
